A journey to the stars

The spectacular sky of La Palma is protected by the well-known “Canary Islands Sky Law” to preserve the darkness of the night and allow us to enjoy our magnificent starry sky. With this tour, you’ll be able to contemplate one of the best skies, both day and night.

Our destination will be the Roque de Los Muchachos viewpoint at an altitude of 2,426 meters (7,959 ft). This natural site is also home to the Roque de Los Muchachos Astrophysical Observatory (ORM), one of the most prestigious scientific research centers in the world. It features a complete array of telescopes, including the Gran Telescopio de Canarias, currently the largest optical-infrared telescope on the planet.

Witnessing the sunset on the summit of La Palma is a true spectacle. High above the clouds with the feeling of touching the sky, we’ll enjoy an unforgettable gift accompanied by a glass of local Palman wine.

As night falls, we’ll embark on a journey to the stars from a nearby astronomical viewpoint. Our team of Starlight guides will begin with a guided tour of the stars and constellations using a laser pointer. You’ll also have the chance to discover star systems, star clusters, nebulae, and galaxies beyond our own with our 11-inch Celestron telescope. If the moon and/or planets are visible at that time, we’ll visit them as well.

Enjoy the peace of mind and safety offered by our experienced buses and drivers. You won’t have to worry about driving at night; we’ll take care of it.
